As mentioned, went to Changi with the family and it was really lovely. The moment we got out of the car, we could already smell and taste the salt in the air! Now that was just what I had pictured in mind.
Spent the time there skipping stones with the brother (sometimes sucessful, sometimes not and Hakiem is disgustingly good at it!), admiring the scenery, enjoying the amazing wind and simply being with the family in a very hassle-free way.
What was a hassle however, was my hair getting all over the place! Yes, it was that windy! I could have tied up my hair, but it feels really nice with the wind in my hair. (: Plus, it's certainly not every day you get the "wind blown hair" all natural yknow.
I felt really happy! Haha. Although it's such a simple thing; free of charge (except for the parking) and not really doing anything in particular, it was really pleasant. (:
Ooooh! We saw this huge ass dead fish that was swept ashore! Pretty gross too.

Bumped into dad's friend, Syed, and son, Sharith, there. Dad's friend is Arab and his wife is Chinese. This son turned out looking like his mum so it kinda looked like it wasnt really his son? Haha.Sharith's 11 too, like Hakiem and he's kinda shy which makes him cute! (and brother not really, haha)
Climbed rocks which do look pretty deadly actually, then sat here-
and just soaked it all in.
The mind did threaten to drift elsewhere which also threatened the mood to swing low. But it didnt. Just do it like Peter Pan and "think happy thoughts". (:

Left before the sunset, which was pretty sad, but Papa wasn't feeling too good (he vomited!) so we went to Changi Village for dinner.
Met two of the regular customers at SATS there (twins, about 19 I think). Haha. It was funny cos I was talking to my mum about the Nasi Ayam Penyet stall and they were sitting right in front of the stall. I felt somone looking at me, so I glanced down (was looking at the sign hence gaze was "up") then he stared, and I stared, then he smiled and pointed, then I returned a smile, then he nudged his brother then he looked up and smiled too then I smiled back.
I think twin #1 took some time recognizing me, cos I wasnt really dressed like a slob the way I usually am for work. Hahah. While I on the other hand took some time to recognize him cos I'm quite bad with matching faces and where I know them and simply a little slow like that. :/
Anyway, yup. After dinner headed back home, dropped by Tampines Mart to do some grocery/toiletry shopping with the mother and caught the rest of the match with Daddy Dearest and a bowl of seedless grapes.
Good times, good times. :D
So no, didnt end up Grapevine-ing to watch the match with them in the end. Will make up another time though. Promise. (:
In case you didnt already know, (you slow bugger) WE WON THE ASEAN FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
The Thais were pretty bad losers (like the first leg). Especially #7 dude. But he cried? So.. I dont know. He just took it hard I guess. But whatever. Khairul Amri's goal won for us the title. He looked so friggin happy and super adorable after he scored! I wanted to hug him, man. Haha.
So many hot men, so many tight butts, so many sweaty hot men, it was delicious. ;D
Second straight Asean title, babeh!
